The Kick-Fit Circuit is a great way to combine strength training with biking, bag work, rope jumping, plyometrics, and boxing. It clearly illustrates the concept of multi-dimensional exercise. You can do this by doing each of the activities shown above in two or three minute circuits, with or without a trainer, in the gym or in your home. Jumping Rope/Rope Skipping
Rope skipping can be done indoors or out, requires little formal equipment, and can be an effective component of a fitness program for people who have high levels of fitness and regular activity. We emphasize the latter point because rope skipping places the load primarily on the lower leg, involves a smaller muscle group than walking and runnng, and causes a disproportionately higher heart rate response.
